Hybrid Closed - Type CRH
Summer
The liquid to be cooled passes through the air/water battery. This will warm up the exhaust air, which reduces the relative humidity: the exhaust plume reduces or disappears.
The liquid runs through the process side of the plate heat exchanger to complete the cooling process.
Spring/Fall
The by-pass valve allows to control the water quantity to be conducted directly to the basin and the water quantity to first pass over the tower packing.
Winter
The liquid is cooled by only the battery and is not led to the basin.
In winter the cooling happens without evaporation and doesn't consume any water.
