More about the backward curved blades
The shape of the blades provides the means for obtaining diffusing channels in the impeller where the fluid is discharged with a minimum of separation. This results in a silent operation, low input power and high efficiency.
This blade is particularly well suited for impellers of an average or relatively narrow width.
It is ideal for fans operating in parallel as it provides for an output-power curve with a maximum volume which means that there is no risk of motor overload if it goes over that maximum.
This blade is generally used for clean gas but it is also suitable for gas charged with dust that is only slightly abrasive. It is not suitable for gas charged with clogging dust.
